Announcement Fine art prints & frame-worthy, artisan greetings cards that speak to your nature-loving heart. Printed from watercolor-walnut dye paintings by Annie Fain Barralon of Fain House, a one woman studio tucked into the blue-green-purple mountains of Western North Carolina.

Every Fain House item is printed from an original painting. Each painting begins with a first layer wash of walnut dye Annie Fain makes with walnuts gathered here in the good ol' Appalachian Mountains of her childhood (and now adulthood). Following layers are a mix of watercolor, gouache and acrylic.

What exactly is a giclée print? A museum quality, digital print made using fade-resistant, archival inks resulting in richly colored, long lasting artwork (100+ years!)

Annie Fain makes beautiful art. I have 2 of her other winterscapes and really wanted the one she created for 2023. She did not have anymore copies of her 2023 winter print available however when I reached out to her about purchasing one she graciously special ordered one for me! Exceptional customer service!
